Cloud aaS – What does this mean for the media industry?

Arnaud Caron is the Director, Portfolio transformation, MediaKind, where he is responsible for defining the architecture transition of the MediaKind Video Processing & Delivery portfolio to components in line with the microservices and cloud approach accelerating Media Innovation and enabling orchestration for operations.

Previously, Caron joined Ericsson through the acquisition of Envivio, a U.S.-based provider of software video processing and delivery solutions. Caron’s experience ranges from the launch of the first IPTV service platform for Orange in 2004 through to launching the deep architecture evolution of Broadcast platforms in Europe at Envivio. Caron has also worked for Accenture, Nokia, Siemens Networks and Technicolor, covering IPTV, broadcast, mobile and OTT domains. Since joining Ericsson, Caron has been responsible for a successful POC and customer launch of Cloud Video Processing solutions to Tier1 Cable and Service Operators customers in the NAM, Europe and Asia.

Caron has studied Pragmatic Marketing and holds a Master Degree in Electrical System and Computer Engineering.
