Ashish Patel joins MediaKind with a track record of leadership excellence at industry giants such as Comcast, Amazon Prime Video, and Meta. His appointment reinforces MediaKind’s commitment to expanding monetization opportunities for TV platforms seeking technology, platform architecture, and business model innovation. Working closely with MediaKind customers, Ashish will shape and execute the long-term growth strategy for the TV platforms business by identifying new opportunities and investments.

As Vice President of IP Video Engineering at Comcast, Ashish built high-availability video workflows, designing cloud and network infrastructure capable of delivering high-quality video at a growing scale for ever-demanding users. This experience will be a significant asset as MediaKind scales to meet the unique customer challenges of the video business today.

As  MediaKind extends its technical capabilities to support the most demanding hyperscale and latency-sensitive video applications, Ashish’s work at Amazon Prime Video building deep edge caching solutions and ultra-low latency live linear video streaming solutions will add another value layer to the company’s customers. Leading developer infrastructure engineering at Meta, Ashish focused on organizational stability, accountability, and timely solution delivery, attributes which he’ll extend to entire organization.

Tony Goncalves is the former CEO of Otter Media and former CRO of WarnerMedia. His critical insights into the current and future states of the media and entertainment, and TV distribution markets will provide MediaKind a head start in the rapidly changing video business and technical landscape. His twenty-five years experience at DIRECTV, AT&T, Otter Media, and WarnerMedia, aligns directly with the markets that MediaKind serves. Tony’s expertise in streaming, advertising monetization, and revenue growth will deepen MediaKind’s strategic vision, enabling it to respond to the needs of its customers as an advisor.
