Expanded MK.IO services to streamline live event workflows

MediaKind introduced new services within its MK.IO platform ahead of IBC2024, designed to streamline live event workflows. Fleet Management, Flow Control, and AI Automation integrate with MK.IO Beam edge processing, creating a flexible Programmable Media Network. This approach creates a cloud-based solution that replaces traditional hardware. These services significantly reduce the complexity and cost of live production and in-venue operations.

  • MK.IO Beam and Fleet Management: Runs on COTS servers, providing a flexible, reprogrammable solution for edge processing. Managed through MK.IO’s unified cloud control, Beam devices can be easily upgraded, configured, and monitored across the entire production network.
  • MK.IO Flow Control and AI-Assisted Automation: Automates feed routing, configuration, and processing, while a natural language interface enables operators to set up, monitor, and manage large workflows without needing advanced system knowledge.

MediaKind milestones announced during IBC2024
